Google offers refund on Pixel 11 Pro Fold

Google has introduced a refund offer for its Pixel 11 Pro Fold, launched in August. Customers who purchase the device between October 1 and October 31, 2026, at a participating retailer can receive a 300-euro refund, reducing the price from 1,999 euros to 1,699 euros.

Refund conditions and additional perks

The refund must be applied for 14 days after purchase, no later than December 14, and the money will be issued within 30 days of approval. The offer is available at Fnac, which also provides a month of Canal+ subscription and three months of Deezer for free with the purchase.

Pixel 11 Pro Fold's design and display

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold opens like a book, with a 6.5-inch external OLED screen that reaches up to 3,600 nits in peak brightness when closed. When open, it displays an almost square 8-inch OLED screen with a refresh rate that varies from 1 to 120 Hz depending on the content being viewed.

Pixel 11 Pro Fold's performance and features

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold weighs 239 grams and is 10.1 millimeters thick when folded. It includes Google's Tensor G6 chip and 16 gigabytes of RAM, allowing for smooth multitasking. It runs on Android 17 and integrates Google's Gemini artificial intelligence functions, with a promise of seven years of software updates.

Camera and battery capabilities

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold features a 48-megapixel main sensor, a 10.5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 10.8-megapixel telephoto lens that offers up to x5 optical zoom. It also claims more than 24 hours of battery life, supports 30-watt wired charging, and includes magnetic wireless charging through Pixelsnap. It is IP68 certified, meaning it can be submerged at a depth of 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.

Comparison with iPhone Duo

In France, the iPhone Duo starts at 2,339 euros for 256 gigabytes, with a 7.6-inch internal screen. After the refund, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is 640 euros cheaper than the iPhone Duo. However, it lacks the "passport" format of the iPhone Duo and has a larger unfolded screen while being lighter. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold also offers a longer battery life and more advanced camera features.
