Denis Brogniart has lived in Bièvres, a commune in the Essonne department, for over twenty years. He bought a large house there several years ago. Brogniart was born in Dijon, a city in the Burgundy region of France, and considers Burgundy his "heart region." He mentioned that Dijon is where his parents met, as they were both students there. Brogniart moved to the Île-de-France region over thirty years ago to study at the Institut pratique de journalisme, where he began to pursue his dream of becoming a sports journalist. Bièvres is a small town located near the Meudon forest, and Brogniart has described it as a place where he feels at home. He appreciates the simple, family-like atmosphere of the commune and often refers to it as "nature 10 km from Paris." He also noted that he is only ten minutes away from TF1, the major French television network, by motorcycle. According to Anne Pelletier-Le Barbier, the mayor of Bièvres, Brogniart is actively involved in local life. She described him as kind and available, noting that he regularly participates in city events. Recently, he offered to display his travel photographs for a cultural event, showing his interest in sharing his experiences with the community. The Brogniart family moved less than a kilometer from their previous home a few years ago, purchasing a large house of 260 square meters with seven rooms on a 4000 square meter plot that includes a swimming pool. Brogniart bought the house in 2015 for approximately 1.2 million euros. The home features high ceilings, white walls, and large floor-to-ceiling windows that provide a view of nature and the garden. The living room includes a fireplace and a spacious open area, with the kitchen opening directly onto the dining room and living room around a central ceramic island. The interior design blends elements of Chinese-style decor with abstract art.
