Harry Styles, the British singer and former member of the boy band One Direction, recently funded free coffee for all visitors to two of London’s cafes as part of a promotional event tied to the extension of his "Together, Together" tour. The singer paid for all coffee orders at Kaffeine’s two central London locations on Saturday, through the event promoter Live Nation. Cafe owner Peter Dore-Smith explained that while he couldn’t promote the free drinks on social media, he could inform customers in person that the coffee had been purchased by the tour. The promotion came after Styles announced three additional dates for his concert at Wembley Stadium, scheduled for August 25, 27, and 28, 2027. Dore-Smith said that Live Nation had informed him that Kaffeine was chosen as Styles’ "favorite coffee shop," though the promotion couldn’t be advertised in advance. The owner noted that Styles covered the usual Saturday revenue at both cafes, located on Eastcastle Street and Great Titchfield Street, and also added a buffer to ensure all drinks could be paid for. Dore-Smith mentioned that Styles had visited the Eastcastle Street location a couple of years ago, and the cafe had previously displayed his song lyrics on a blackboard during his last London concerts. On the day of the giveaway, the cafe placed posters in the windows and used "Together, Together" tour stickers on every coffee sold. Styles' music played in the shops, and staff wore ties to "dress up" like the artist, who often performs in ties. "We put extra staff on, and on the day people just rocked up as normal," Dore-Smith said. When customers asked why their coffee was free, staff responded, "because Harry Styles is buying everyone's coffee today." He added that similar promotions had been done with a florist and an ice cream shop before. Live Nation, the event promoter, declined to comment further on the matter.
