High-end mouse with touchscreen

The Turtle Beach Command Series MC7 is a high-end mouse featuring a touchscreen, programmable buttons, and removable batteries, offering multiple possibilities for gaming, work, and streaming. It is designed for users who need to keep many shortcuts and macros within reach without relying on third-party peripherals.

Design and dimensions

The mouse is designed with an asymmetrical shell exclusively for right-handed users and has dimensions of 128 mm in length, 85 mm in width, and 46 mm in height. It weighs 137 grams, which is heavier than the Naga V3 Pro at 117 grams.

Touchscreen and programmable features

The mouse includes a 2.25-inch color touchscreen on the left side, allowing users to modify DPI settings, change profiles, launch macros, or access application commands. It also features ten programmable buttons and up to thirty-three functions through Easy-Shift technology, enabling secondary functions when holding a dedicated key.

Profiles and customization

Five profiles are available in onboard memory, allowing quick switching between gaming, office, and video editing presets. The mouse is paired with the Command Series KB5 keyboard, allowing users to distribute commands between two screens for greater modularity.

Hardware and performance

The combination of the mouse and keyboard allows for a more complete preset configuration, with functions such as scene changes and audio commands on the keyboard, and macros or sensitivity settings on the mouse. Customization is managed through the Swarm II software, which handles button settings, profiles, lighting, and display configurations.

Sensor and connectivity

The mouse uses an Owl-Eye 30K sensor with a tracking speed of 750 IPS and an acceleration of 70 G, and supports a polling rate up to 8,000 Hz with the provided receiver. It includes Titan optical switches rated for 150 million activations and a 4D scroll wheel with notched scrolling, free mode, and lateral tilt commands.

Battery and connectivity options

The mouse is powered by two 1,000 mAh batteries, with a station to charge the one not in use. The autonomy is approximately ten hours per battery, but the hot swap feature allows for quick battery changes. The mouse also supports USB, Bluetooth, and wireless 2.4 GHz connections.

User experience and design

The touchscreen and high weight require users to adjust their handling and configuration habits. The mouse is described as imposing and heavy, with a design that includes RGB lighting and copper lines. While the weight may be a drawback for users accustomed to ultra-light models, the mouse is noted for its performance and solidity.
