U2 announces concerts in France

U2 has confirmed two concerts at the Stade de France in 2027 as part of its "The greatest show on earth" tour. The performances will take place on May 5 and May 8, as announced by Live Nation in a press release.

European tour route detailed

The European leg of the tour will begin in Stockholm on April 26 and will include stops in Amsterdam, Berlin, Lisbon, Milan, and Paris before concluding in France. Additional dates in England and Spain are expected to be announced soon.

Surprise performances mark 50th anniversary

To celebrate its 50th anniversary, U2 held a surprise concert at their former high school, Mount Temple Comprehensive School, and also performed unexpectedly on Grafton Street in Dublin. The band members—Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen Jr.—are also considering shows in Ireland.

New album release upcoming

The band’s new album, Carnaval De Luz, is set to release on November 13, 2026. It will be their first studio album since Songs of Experience in 2017. Earlier this year, they released the EP Days of Ash to commemorate Easter, and two singles, Street Of Dreams and Silencio, have already been released as previews.
