With just a few weeks until the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, fans of the popular first-person shooter series are getting excited for the latest installment. The Call of Duty franchise has been a staple in gaming for over 20 years, with nearly annual releases and a variety of sub-series, including the Modern Warfare line. The Modern Warfare series originally launched in 2007 with a trilogy that became a cornerstone of the franchise. More recently, the series was rebooted, resetting the storyline and updating the characters and themes to reflect contemporary issues and technology. The rebooted Modern Warfare games introduced new characters while retaining some fan favorites, creating a mix of old and new for players. Among the most well-known characters are Captain John Price, a seasoned military officer; Gaz, a loyal and tough squad member; and Soap, whose full name is John MacTavish, a close ally of Price. These characters have become iconic within the Call of Duty universe, and their stories have been central to the series’ success. As the release of Modern Warfare 4 approaches, a quiz has been created to test fans' knowledge of the entire Modern Warfare series, covering both the original trilogy and the newer rebooted games. The quiz includes a range of questions that challenge players on character details, storylines, and key events. Fans are encouraged to take the quiz and share their results, along with any surprising facts or favorite moments from the games. Whether you’re a long-time fan or new to the Modern Warfare series, the upcoming release of Modern Warfare 4 promises to bring fresh challenges and familiar faces to the battlefield. As players prepare for the new game, the quiz serves as both a fun way to test knowledge and a nostalgic trip through the series’ rich history.
