AI assistant for Macs launched

MacPaw, the company behind popular macOS tools like CleanMyMac and Setapp, has introduced Eney, a new AI assistant tailored for macOS users. Eney is designed to integrate artificial intelligence directly into the Mac environment to assist with daily tasks such as summarizing emails, organizing files, and preparing for meetings.

Eney connects with macOS tools

Eney connects to built-in macOS tools like Calendar, Mail, Notes, and Files. This integration allows it to use relevant information to carry out user requests without requiring manual input, making it more efficient than traditional chatbots.

Eney handles repetitive tasks

One of Eney’s key features is its ability to handle repetitive daily tasks. During meetings, it can transcribe conversations, extract summaries, and highlight follow-up tasks, reducing the need for users to manually review notes after a video call.

Eney provides timely information

The AI assistant also aims to bring relevant information to users at the right time. It can provide morning briefings or summaries of upcoming appointments, helping users prepare for their day and avoid missing important events.

Eney Wand improves workflow

A feature called Eney Wand allows the assistant to intervene directly from content displayed on the screen. This eliminates the need for traditional copy-paste actions between windows, enabling users to request analysis or assistance from the content they are viewing.

Subscription model and pricing

Eney is compatible with Macs using Apple M-series chips and runs on macOS. Users can try it for free for 14 days or use 10,000 credits before a subscription is required. Three monthly plans are available: Starter at €13.34 for 10,000 credits, Boost at €26.77 for 20,000 credits, and Power at €44.54 for 30,000 credits. Credits are used to execute tasks, with complex requests consuming more credits than simple ones.
