Roofit.Solar partners with Enerium Solar to bring its innovative metal solar roof to France and Spain, blending style and sustainability for modern and heritage buildings.
Estonian company partners with French firm
Roofit.Solar, an Estonian company, has partnered with Enerium Solar, a specialist in integrated photovoltaic solutions, to distribute its metal solar roof in France and Spain. The standing seam roof is equipped with next-generation TOPCon cells and is designed to withstand difficult weather conditions while being adaptable to all types of buildings, new or renovated.Growing solar market in France
According to Enedis data, France had 1.3 million photovoltaic installations in March 2026, with nearly 180,000 new connections each year. Integrated solutions (BIPV) are gaining momentum in this market, supported by RE2020 and the APER law, which strengthen obligations for solarization of roofs.Aesthetic and design focus
Roofit.Solar combines a robust metal covering with next-generation photovoltaic cells that are nearly invisible, guaranteeing a modern and minimalist aesthetic that integrates into heritage buildings as well as contemporary constructions. The product has been awarded multiple international design and green innovation awards, including Red Dot and iF Design, and has recently been nominated in the category Decarbonization of Innovation Awards of the Paris Builders Show 2026.Technical features and performance
Made from steel, the roof benefits from the standing seam technique ensuring perfect waterproofing. It is available in black for a sober and timeless look, as well as in a palette of three colors: gray, green, and terracotta. In terms of performance, Roofit.Solar solutions are equipped with next-generation TOPCon cells, for optimal efficiency, up to 190 W/m2.Lightweight and durable design
Thanks to its lightness (approximately 15.5 kg/m2), a Roofit.Solar solar roof is easily installed, even on old buildings with fragile rafters that would not support the combined weight of a conventional roof and overlying solar panels. The cells have been tested and approved to withstand hail impacts at 165.5 km/h. They offer the assurance of a 10-year warranty on the materials and a secure energy return of more than 80% of its power after 25 years of operation.
