Top Chef winner opens fast food chain

Mohamed Cheikh, the winner of Top Chef in 2021, has opened his fast food restaurant chain Chik’Chill in Lyon. The restaurant, specializing in fried chicken, opened its doors on Wednesday, October 14, at the Confluence shopping center in the 2nd arrondissement of Lyon.

Opening promotion on social media

To mark the opening, Mohamed Cheikh announced on Instagram that the first 200 people to arrive at Chik’Chill Lyon Confluence would receive their menu offered by him. This gesture aimed to generate excitement and attract early visitors to the new location.

Menu highlights fried chicken and sauces

At Chik’Chill, fried chicken is the main offering, with menus including burgers filled with breaded chicken fillets, as well as wings and boneless chicken pieces. Several sauces accompany the recipes, such as Smoked Barbecue, Chipotle, Jamaican Jerk, or Mayo Momo.

Pricing and expansion plans

The menus start at 12.50 euros. Chik’Chill was launched in February 2025 in Créteil and is expanding in partnership with Bertrand Franchise, a group also involved in the development of Burger King in France. Mohamed Cheikh now aims to expand to the capital of Gaul.
