Netflix has officially announced that The Gentlemen will return for a third season, even before the release of season 2, which is set to debut on the streaming platform. Theo James, who plays Eddie Horniman, is the only confirmed returning cast member so far, but it is widely expected that other main characters will also return for the third installment. Creator and director Guy Ritchie has said that a third season felt "inevitable" and expressed enthusiasm about taking the series in new directions. As of now, no official production schedule or release date has been announced for The Gentlemen season 3. However, based on the pattern of previous releases—season 1 debuted in 2024, and season 2 is expected in 2026—season 3 might not arrive until at least 2028. This timeline allows for time to develop new storylines and characters. A trailer for season 3 is expected to be released roughly two weeks before its debut, following the pattern established by season 2, whose trailer was released in late August 2026. This gives fans a final sneak peek before the season becomes available to watch. Theo James is confirmed to return as Eddie Horniman, but rumors about Meghan Markle joining the cast have been dismissed by current cast members. New actors are expected to join the series, though no names have been officially announced. The storyline for season 3 is expected to continue exploring family dynamics, particularly the complicated relationship between Eddie and Freddy Horniman. Some speculate that Freddy may either become an ally to a powerful Mafia crime boss or break away from Eddie's influence. Meanwhile, the relationships between Eddie, Susie, and Bobby are expected to evolve, especially now that Bobby has taken on a significant debt, potentially leading to a reconnection between the trio. While these plot ideas are based on season 2’s events, no official details about season 3 have been confirmed by the production team. Fans are advised to stay tuned for future updates from Netflix and the show’s creators.
