The Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 6+256 Go is currently being promoted as an affordable smartphone option, now available on Amazon for 253 euros—down from its original price of 303 euros. Prime subscribers can further reduce the cost to 238 euros by using the code FRPRIME15, though this offer is only valid until October 16. This smartphone is aimed at budget-conscious buyers who want a feature-packed device without spending too much. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 processor, paired with 6 GB of RAM, which should handle everyday tasks like web browsing, social media, and light gaming efficiently. It also includes a large 7700 mAh battery, which should provide all-day usage on a single charge. The phone features a 50 MP main camera and a 16 MP front camera that can record 1080p video at 30 frames per second, making it suitable for casual photography and video calls. The Redmi Note 17 has a 6.99-inch AMOLED FHD+ screen with a resolution of 2396 x 1080 pixels and a high 120 Hz refresh rate, which makes scrolling and animations feel smooth. The display is certified by TÜV Rheinland for reduced blue light and better alignment with the body’s natural circadian rhythm. It also includes automatic brightness adjustment based on 4,096 levels, ensuring optimal visibility in various lighting conditions. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and has an IP65 rating, offering protection against dust and water splashes. Additional features include 45 W turbo charging for fast battery replenishment, as well as wired reverse charging up to 22.5 W, allowing users to charge other devices using their phone’s battery. However, the phone does not come with a wall adapter. The device also includes AI-based tools like image extension, sky replacement, and AI Pro Erase, which can enhance photos automatically. It supports Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, an infrared transmitter, and includes both a fingerprint sensor and facial recognition for secure access. The phone runs on Android with Google Gemini and Surround functions, which enhance search capabilities and provide more context during searches.
