Electric scooter introduced at CES 2026

The Navee NT5 Max is an electric scooter designed for off-road use, unveiled during the CES 2026 in Las Vegas alongside other models with a similar off-road-oriented mindset.

Discount available on Amazon

The scooter is currently available on Amazon with a 200 euro discount, reducing its price from 899 euros to 699 euros.

Performance and features

It features a motor that reaches up to 1,600 W at peak and can climb slopes up to 28 percent. It has a theoretical autonomy of 85 km, ensured by its 561.6 Wh battery, and includes NavXRide suspensions and 10.5 inch tubeless tires for riding comfort.

Dimensions and design

The Navee NT5 Max has dimensions of 1250 x 625 x 1355 mm when unfolded and weighs 33.5 kg net. It is not suitable for intermodal transport due to its size and is designed to replace a bicycle or a scooter for a complete journey.

Suspension and load capacity

It includes an inverted telescopic fork at the front, the NavXRide system with a travel range of 40 to 70 mm, and a rear shock absorber. The scooter can carry a maximum load of 150 kg but has a high ground clearance that changes the center of gravity and the sensations in turns, requiring an adaptation period.

Deck size and comfort

The 22 cm wide by 60 cm long deck is a bit narrow for long trips.

Power and battery

In terms of performance, the NT5 Max has a nominal power of 800 W and can reach up to 1,600 W at peak via a Boost mode accessible via a button on the handlebar. It is powered by a 561.6 Wh battery for a theoretical autonomy of 85 km.

Braking and control systems

The braking system includes dual 140 mm disc brakes and an electronic EABS system. An electronic traction control system (TCS) limits the rear wheel slipping on slippery roads, though it can be disabled.

Display and user feedback

The 5-inch color LED screen displays essential information, but some users have noted that the screen's brightness is reduced when the 6 W front light turns on automatically during the day, making it unreadable. The turn signals come with a loud sound reminder that cannot be disabled.

Comparison to other models

The Navee NT5 Max is more powerful than a Segway-Ninebot Max G2 e but sacrifices urban comfort for an off-road aspect that may not suit everyone. Some users have pointed out minor flaws, but these can be overlooked due to the discount offered on Amazon.
