Season continues with intense action

The second season of Cat's Eyes continues with high-stakes action and elaborate stunts, as the characters navigate a series of dramatic twists. In one sequence, Tam (Camille Lou) and the Marquis escape the Montparnasse Tower using a paraglider, while Lucas faces a separate challenge as he tries to evade the network's henchmen. The Marquis, determined to save Lucas, boards a plane and takes off, only to be confronted by Gabriel (Jérôme Le Banner), who shoots at the aircraft, causing it to crash almost immediately.

Actor describes filming the crash scene

Actor Tom Leeb, who portrays the Marquis, described the experience of filming the scene in an interview in August. He revealed that he was 100% in the plane during the shoot, with a real pilot on his left and a cameraman at the back. The plane took off and flew for 15 minutes around the Cergy-Pontoise airport.

Director simulated challenges during flight

Director Alexandre Laurent instructed the pilot to simulate difficulties every 30 to 40 seconds, while Leeb pretended to dodge bullets. He rehearsed the action sequence about fifteen times during the flight, with the pilot moving the plane and Leeb pretending to take bullets, using a disarticulated control stick to simulate piloting.

Leeb enjoys variety of stunts

Leeb expressed enthusiasm about the variety of action sequences in the series, mentioning that he has driven a motorcycle, a race car, a helicopter, and a plane, and has performed skydiving and paragliding. He noted that for a French series, having access to such a range of stunts is "very rich and extraordinary."
