Campaign targets doctors for sick leave

The Cnam has launched a new campaign aimed at major prescribers of daily allowances (IJ), which are payments made to workers who are temporarily unable to work due to illness. This campaign is being strongly criticized by MG France, a prominent medical union.

Doctors call method unfair

MG France, representing general practitioners, has condemned the Cnam’s method of targeting doctors as "arbitrary, violent and unfair." The criticism comes from Dr Johan Saynac, vice-president of the union, who argues that the selection process lacks fairness and transparency.

650 doctors targeted

The campaign focuses on 650 general practitioners who are identified as overprescribers of sick leave. MG France claims that the selection method used by the Health Insurance has biases and does not accurately reflect the true situation of these doctors.

Union demands end to controls

Dr Johan Saynac has called for an end to these performance monitoring controls, describing them as outdated and inappropriate. He argues that the procedures used by the Cnam are not in line with current medical practices or ethical standards.
