MSC Croisières unveils 2029 world tour details

MSC Croisières has revealed the specifics of its 2029 world tour aboard the MSC Magnifica, a 119-night journey that will visit 45 destinations across 21 countries. The cruise is set to begin on January 4, 2029, with passengers able to board from four Italian ports: Civitavecchia near Rome, Genoa, Marseille, and Barcelona.

Fourth edition of a recurring world tour

This will be the fourth edition of the recurring world tour, a tradition for MSC Croisières since 2019, with the exception of pandemic-affected years. The 2026 edition of the tour had 496 passengers throughout the itinerary, indicating a consistent level of interest in these long voyages.

New and established destinations in 2029

The 2029 itinerary includes new ports in Australia, such as Kangaroo Island, Broome, and Darwin, along with familiar stops like Sydney, Melbourne, and Fremantle. In New Zealand, the tour will include stops in Timaru and Milford Sound, while in the Pacific, Lautoka in Fiji is a new port, followed by stops in Bali, Lombok, and Java in Indonesia.

Ship features and itinerary balance

The MSC Magnifica has been partially renovated and now includes the MSC Yacht Club, a luxury area with dedicated suites, private dining, and 24-hour service. The ship also has five restaurants, 12 bars, a theater, a casino, a spa, and sports facilities. The itinerary aims to balance major cities, natural attractions, and extended time at each destination, with nine ports offering overnight stays.

Promotions and included amenities

As part of a sales promotion, loyalty program points are tripled for reservations made before November 19, 2026. Classic-level members of the MSC Voyagers Club receive a 5% discount. The 2029 world tour package includes 15 shore excursions, a Dine & Drink package for meals, and a 30% discount on laundry services.
