A 276-piece LEGO version of Astro Bot, the mascot of Team Asobi, has been added to the LEGO PlayStation Brick set. This character, known for its role in various games and media, will now be part of the LEGO set that was announced a month ago. Earlier reports had suggested that the LEGO Astro Bot would only be available as a bonus for future owners of the LEGO PlayStation set, but that is no longer the case. The small blue and white robot can be purchased separately for 19.99 euros, as shown on the PlayStation Direct store. It comes with a base and includes 276 pieces. The robot's design allows for a 360-degree rotation of its head and movement of its arms in different directions. Additionally, its round eyes can be replaced with half-moon eyes to change its expression, adding a playful element to the toy. For those interested in the larger LEGO PlayStation set, it contains 1,911 pieces and includes several interactive features. These include the ability to connect a controller to the console and press the Open and Power buttons, which are both tactile and functional. Once the lid of the set is opened, the interior can be decorated with hidden dioramas inspired by Gran Turismo and Ape Escape, offering a creative and engaging experience for builders. The LEGO PlayStation set is scheduled to be released on October 4, 2026, with a price tag of 159.99 euros. This release marks a significant addition to the LEGO line, combining gaming culture with the popular building toy brand.
