The actor-director shared his first experience with the Inrocks magazine, which was for the 2006 film In Paris by Christophe Honoré. He was on the magazine’s cover with actor Romain Duris, and the photo was taken the morning after the film’s premiere party, which had been very lively. They were seated on a beach in Cannes, barefoot in the sand, still groggy, poorly dressed, and under the harsh light of a high noon sun. He expressed happiness about being alongside Romain for the film. When asked who he would put on the Inrocks cover, he humorously suggested the person who manages to deactivate all the nuclear bombs on this planet. When asked about a remarkable work from the last forty years, he mentioned All About My Mother by Pedro Almodóvar, noting that his answer could change from morning to afternoon depending on his mood. He also mentioned that he has been listening on loop to all the albums of Mk.gee for a year, thanks to an article he read in a newspaper. Additionally, he mentioned attending a concert by Feu! Chatterton at Bercy, a large concert venue in Paris, and referenced Arthur Teboul, a French jazz musician known for his work in the 1950s and 1960s. The Inrocks is compiling testimonies from more than 250 artists and actors from the cultural world who share their memories of the Inrockuptibles, the magazine’s annual music and arts event, in its special 40th anniversary edition. This edition aims to celebrate the magazine's long-standing influence in the cultural scene.
