AliExpress Black Friday promotion

AliExpress has launched a Black Friday month promotion, offering the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro at a reduced price. The earbuds are now available for 79 euros with the discount code 11FR13, which is lower than the 84 euros noted at the start of the year.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro features

The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, released in July 2024, include a stem design and a two-way speaker with a planar tweeter. They are listed at 79 euros on AliExpress with the code 11FR13, compared to a marked price of 154.11 euros specific to the merchant. The discount is valid until November 18, covering the Singles' Day on November 11.

Target audience and compatibility

The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are primarily aimed at users of Galaxy smartphones, as they take full advantage of features like the two-way speaker and the Samsung SSC UHQ codec. On other devices, they only support AAC or LC3. The earbuds also include adaptive noise reduction, voice detection, and siren detection, and are IP57 certified for dust and water resistance.

Additional features and performance

The adaptive noise reduction automatically adjusts to environments like public transport, and voice detection allows users to answer calls without removing an earbud. Samsung claims up to six hours of playback with active noise cancellation and up to 26 hours with the case. The stem supports gesture commands, and the Interpreter function translates conversations in real-time with a compatible Galaxy smartphone.

Comparison with newer models

The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are no longer the flagship model, as the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro are now considered the top choice. The newer model is priced at 152 euros, nearly double the cost of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. Other options include the Nothing Ear (3a) at 91.99 euros and the Sony WF-1000XM6 and AirPods Pro 3, which exceed 200 euros.

Strengths and limitations

The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro offer features like a two-way speaker, adaptive noise reduction, IP57 certification, and a price below 84 euros. However, some features like 24-bit sound and Galaxy AI are only available on compatible Galaxy smartphones. They may also be imported versions with uncertain warranty and are an older model compared to the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro.

Other Black Friday promotions

Alongside the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro deal, AliExpress offers various other promotions, including Proton VPN Plus at 2.49 euros/month for two years, pCloud Pass Premium for 119 euros for life, and other services like Deezer Premium and Avast One Premium Security. Clubic provides thematic selections daily throughout November for Black Friday deals.
