Motorcyclist dies in Corsican accident

A 22-year-old motorcyclist died in a traffic accident that occurred on Saturday around 9:30 p.m. in the commune of Ventiseri, a small town in Corsica.

Emergency services respond quickly

According to information from the Service d'incendie et de secours de Haute-Corse (SIS 2B), the young man was quickly taken care of by emergency services, but his death was declared at 10 p.m. by the doctor on scene.

Two others involved but unharmed

Two other individuals, aged 36 and 29, were also involved in the accident in a light vehicle. Physically unharmed, they are however "deeply shocked," according to the SIS 2B.

Road closed for emergency operations

Significant emergency resources were deployed to the scene. The RT 10 was closed to traffic in both directions to facilitate the response and ensure safety.
