The Breville Barista Express is a popular at-home espresso machine that has been available for several years and is often recommended for its reliability and performance. It is currently being sold on Amazon for AU$595, which is a significant discount from its original price of AU$999 in 2022 and a lower price of AU$719 that was previously listed. This deal is specifically for the Charcoal model, while other color options cost at least AU$100 more. The Barista Express includes an integrated grinder that allows users to adjust the grind size, dosage, and water volume, making it easier to customize their coffee. It also features a powerful steam wand for frothing both dairy and non-dairy milk, along with a manual tamper, single-wall and double-wall portafilter baskets, and a razor tool to level ground coffee. Unlike the Barista Express Impress model, it does not include an automatic tamping feature. While some users may need to experiment with settings to achieve the best espresso quality, once the right parameters are found, the machine can consistently deliver high-quality results. It is also compact, making it a good choice for those with smaller kitchens. Additionally, it qualifies for Breville’s free Barista Gift Pack, which includes a 1kg bag of coffee beans and a Bean Keeper canister for storing them. Other espresso machines on Amazon are also available at discounted prices. These include the Philips Baristina at AU$444, the Ninja Luxe Cafe (Oat Milk) at AU$677, the Breville Bambino Plus at AU$487, the KitchenAid Semi Automatic at AU$799.20, and the Philips LatteGo 4400 at AU$787.99. These options provide a range of choices for consumers looking to upgrade or start their home espresso brewing experience.
