At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026, MSI, a well-known manufacturer of gaming computers and professional laptops, unveiled the Prestige 16 Flip AI+, an ultraportable laptop with a unique design. One of its standout features is its 360-degree rotating hinges, which allow the device to be used as a tablet. This flexibility makes it a versatile option for users who need both traditional laptop functionality and the convenience of a touchscreen. The device is aimed at professionals and creative users who require both performance and portability. The Prestige 16 Flip AI+ is powered by an Intel Core Ultra X9 388H processor, which features 16 cores and can operate at speeds up to 5.1 GHz. It is supported by 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, which can be expanded to 64 GB, and a 1 TB solid-state drive (SSD). The laptop also includes an integrated graphics chip that helps speed up tasks like photo and video editing. Its 16-inch display is a high-resolution 2.8K OLED screen (2,880 x 1,800 pixels) with a variable refresh rate of 48 to 120 Hz and full DCI-P3 color coverage, making it ideal for multimedia work. The Prestige 16 Flip AI+ is designed to be lightweight and easy to carry, weighing just 1.66 kg and measuring between 11.9 and 13.9 mm in thickness. It includes a variety of connectivity options, such as an HDMI 2.1 port, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, and a headphone jack. The laptop also comes with an included stylus, the MSI Nano Pen, which can be charged using two Pogo ports on the device. While the charger is not included, MSI recommends using a 65 W power adapter for optimal performance. The brand claims that the battery can last an entire day on a single charge. Currently on sale at Fnac and Darty in France, the Prestige 16 Flip AI+ is available at a promotional price of 1,599.99 euros, down from its original price of 1,999.99 euros. This promotion is part of the French Days 2026, a special event running until September 14, aimed at helping consumers prepare for the return to school with new technology. The event offers a range of discounts and promotions on electronics and other school-related items.
