Deep Silver and KING Art Games have released a new CGI trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV, focusing on the Space Marines and highlighting an anticipated alliance between the Blood Ravens and the Dark Angels. The game is part of a long-running series based on the Warhammer 40,000 universe, a science fiction setting known for its grim, war-torn future and detailed lore. The story will bring players back to Kronus, a planet significant to the Blood Ravens as one of their recruitment worlds. Since the appearance of the Great Rift, a mysterious and catastrophic event in the Warhammer 40,000 timeline, Captain Cyrus, Jonah Orion, and their troops find themselves isolated and without reinforcements. Weakened by heavy losses, the Blood Ravens return to Kronus in the hope of rebuilding their forces. However, nothing goes as planned, as particularly powerful Xenos armies—non-human forces in the Warhammer 40,000 universe—await them, leading to a desperate situation. The Dark Angels then enter the scene, allowing the Space Marines to turn the course of the battle. This alliance between two of the most revered and complex Space Marine chapters adds depth to the narrative and gameplay. The trailer showcases intense combat sequences, strategic planning, and the high stakes of the conflict. Players will take on the role of the Blood Ravens and collaborate with the Dark Angels to overcome the overwhelming enemy forces. The game promises to deliver a blend of tactical warfare and rich storytelling, staying true to the dark and intricate nature of the Warhammer 40,000 lore. Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV is scheduled for release on December 3rd on PC.
