Natalie Portman, best known for her role in Black Swan, has given birth to her third child. This is her first child with her partner, Tanguy Destable, a French musician and music producer who goes by the name Tepr. The couple reportedly welcomed their child in Paris last month, and photos shared by Page Six show Portman walking in the city with Destable holding the baby in a carrier. Portman, 45, already has two children from her previous marriage to choreographer and director Benjamin Millepied: a 15-year-old son named Aleph and a nine-year-old daughter named Amalia. Portman announced her pregnancy in April during an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, calling it a "privilege and a miracle." She shared that her father is a fertility specialist, and she grew up hearing about the challenges of conception. She emphasized the importance of being respectful of others' struggles with fertility while acknowledging that the journey can be both joyful and difficult. "Fertility journeys are such a beautiful, joyous thing," she said, "but also not an easy thing." Portman and Destable are "very excited" about the new addition to their family. Throughout her pregnancy, Portman has maintained a healthy lifestyle, including swimming and practicing gyrotonics, a form of exercise that combines elements of yoga, dance, and swimming to improve flexibility and strength. She remains vegan, takes vitamins, and prioritizes rest. She also noted that in France, a full-term pregnancy is considered to be 41 weeks rather than 40, giving her an extra week of pregnancy this time. In July, she posted a photo on Instagram of herself cradling her belly on a Paris balcony, writing in the caption, "Counting the days until we meet you." Portman has kept her relationship with Destable private since they were first linked in March 2025. Destable, who previously married French actress Louise Bourgoin, has two sons from that marriage. Bourgoin has appeared in films such as The Extraordinary Adventures of Adèle Blanc-Sec and the medical drama Interns. Portman has lived in Paris since 2014, after moving there with her ex-husband. She has resided in the city since her divorce from Millepied, which was finalized in July 2023.
