Annual report released

The collective "Les Morts de la rue" published its annual report on Thursday, October 29, detailing the mortality of homeless people in France.

Mortality figures remain stable

The report indicates that slightly less than a thousand people "without a home" would have died in the three months prior to their death. According to the collective, the sad balance remains stable compared to 2024, but has doubled in nearly fifteen years.

Report serves as a critique

The association described the report as a "reproach," aiming to highlight alarming figures concerning the living and dying conditions of people on the street in France.

Cold-related deaths at record high

Additionally, cold-related mortality has reached its highest level since 2012, with 22 deaths, all occurring in autumn or winter.
