Acer's gaming monitor goes on sale with a discount

Acer's Predator X32X5 gaming monitor is now available at Boulanger with a 149 euro discount, bringing its price down from 898.99 euros to 749.99 euros. This 32-inch QD-OLED monitor is aimed at gamers seeking high-performance display technology.

QD-OLED panel delivers rich color performance

The monitor uses a QD-OLED panel that covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color space, providing rich and vivid colors. This technology combines quantum dot and OLED elements to enhance color accuracy and brightness.

HDR certification ensures high-quality light management

The monitor has a VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, ensuring precise light management with deep black levels and intense bright peaks without halo effects. This certification is important for HDR content playback and gaming.

Balanced brightness for typical room conditions

With a standard SDR brightness of around 250 cd/m², the monitor is sufficient for use in a normally lit room. This brightness level is suitable for most gaming and multimedia applications without requiring additional lighting adjustments.

High contrast ratio enhances image quality

The monitor offers a contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1, which contributes to high-quality image rendering. This high contrast ratio is one of the key advantages of OLED technology, allowing for deep blacks and bright whites.

4K resolution with 240 Hz refresh rate

The monitor combines 4K resolution with a native refresh rate of 240 Hz, providing sharp visuals and smooth motion. The self-emissive OLED pixel design allows for a fast GtG response time of 0.03 milliseconds, minimizing ghosting and motion blur.

Supports advanced variable refresh rate technologies

It supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and G-Sync compatibility, which help reduce screen tearing and stuttering in gaming scenarios. These technologies ensure smoother gameplay on compatible graphics cards.

Multiple connectivity options included

The monitor includes a DisplayPort 1.4 input, two HDMI 2.1 ports, and a USB-C port capable of delivering 90 watts to power a laptop. This makes it versatile for connecting multiple devices and charging laptops simultaneously.

Integrated KVM switch for device switching

An integrated KVM switch allows users to switch between devices while using the same keyboard and mouse. This feature is particularly useful for users who need to toggle between a gaming PC and a work computer.

Adjustable stand with limited orientation options

The stand allows for height adjustment, tilt, and lateral rotation but does not support portrait mode. This makes the monitor suitable for landscape-oriented use but not for vertical applications.

Built-in speakers may not be sufficient for audio

The monitor has two small 5 W speakers, but an external audio system is recommended for optimal sound quality. This is common for high-end monitors that prioritize visual performance over audio output.
