Expansion continues at Westfield La Part-Dieu

Westfield La Part-Dieu in Lyon is continuing its growth with multiple new stores and services set to open between late 2024 and early 2027. The shopping center, which attracts 32 million visitors each year, has already welcomed several new businesses, including Miniso and Petitpan, both of which bring Asian-inspired products and decor.

New retail concepts arrive

Among the recent additions is L’Occitane en Provence, which has opened a new space dedicated to cosmetics and skincare. These new stores reflect the shopping center’s strategy to diversify its retail and lifestyle offerings, appealing to a broad range of consumer interests.

Dining options expand

The shopping center is also enhancing its food and beverage options. Tasty Crousty, a street food restaurant specializing in rice and chicken dishes, has opened on level 0. Mama House, an Italian restaurant, has also joined the center, while IT Villaggio, a larger Italian restaurant, is set to open in November 2026 in a space previously occupied by Food Society.

Fashion and creative stores on the way

Urban Outfitters, known for its clothing and home decor, is expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2026. Rougier & Plé, a store specializing in fine arts and crafts, is scheduled to open in early 2027. The Lego Store will also expand into a larger space, and a Korean-inspired photo booth called Booth Studio or Photoism is expected to open, though the exact date is still pending.
