Amazon Australia has announced the dates for its Prime Big Deal Days sale, which will run from 12:01am on September 29 to 11:59pm on October 5, 2026. This sale will coincide with the Labour Day (or King’s Birthday) long weekend in New South Wales, South Australia, and the Australian Capital Territory. Unlike the 48-hour Prime Big Deal Days event in the United States, which is scheduled for October 6 to 7, the Australian version will last seven days, giving shoppers more time to browse and purchase items. The sale is being held earlier than last year’s event, which took place from October 7 to 13, 2025. This shift aims to provide more time before the Black Friday sales in late November and to align with the earlier Prime Day event in July. While Prime Big Deal Days typically offers fewer discounts than the July Prime Day or the November Black Friday sales, there is still potential for record-low prices on popular and premium technology products. The sale is expected to feature a wide range of deals on products from well-known brands such as Apple, Samsung, Dyson, Breville, and Amazon’s own product lines, including Kindle e-readers, Echo smart speakers, and Ring video doorbells. Many of the best prices will be exclusive to Amazon Prime members, although some offers will be available to all customers. For those not yet Prime members, a 30-day free trial is available to access the sale. Amazon Australia has also expanded its same-day delivery service to more cities, including major metropolitan areas like Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Canberra, as well as regional areas such as the Central Coast, Newcastle, and Geelong. This expansion is expected to enhance the shopping experience during the sale, allowing customers to receive their purchases more quickly. The sale is anticipated to feature thousands of deals, and TechRadar will provide live coverage of the best tech deals during the event. Early deals include items such as the Garmin Forerunner 265 and 265S smartwatches, the Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Link purifying heater, the Sony WH-1000XM5 noise-cancelling headphones, the UGREEN Finetrack Slim Bluetooth tracker, and the INIU 45W 10,000mAh power bank. These products are expected to be among the highlights of the sale, offering a mix of popular and high-end technology at potentially discounted prices.
