Criminal Minds returns to TF1

The TV series Criminal Minds is set to return to TF1 after nearly two years of absence, with the 18th season premiering on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, starting at 9:10 PM. The season will consist of 10 episodes and will be broadcast for the first time.

Season opens with character death and return

The season opens with the death of one of the characters and the return of a highly appreciated character by the public. This event is expected to significantly impact the storyline and the dynamics within the team.

First episode features mysterious threat

In the first episode, a body found on a beach in Maryland reveals, during the autopsy, a threat as mysterious as deadly. The DSC recognizes the signature of a killer who has already killed four victims. Pursuing a race against time, the agents must trace back to the source of the danger and prevent it from striking again.

Second episode introduces new criminal threat

In the second episode of the evening's new Criminal Minds episodes, the team investigates videos linked to a serial killer nicknamed "The Zoo Guardian," a member of the Sicarius criminal network. This killer, long inactive, resurfaces, putting the team on a potentially dangerous lead.

Tragic character death and emotional return

Additionally, in this episode, a character present since season 2 dies suddenly, under tragic circumstances. The life of the team, and more particularly one of our heroines, will never be the same again. On the occasion of the funeral (which will take place on TF1 the following week in episode 3 of this 18th season), Reid will make his big comeback to support his former colleagues and friends.

Actor returns after long absence

The actor Matthew Gray Gubler returns to the universe of Criminal Minds for the first time since the end of season 15, marking a significant moment for fans of the show.
