Forum rescheduled for November 10

The Place de l’emploi forum in Toulouse, originally planned for October 6, has been moved to Tuesday, November 10, 2026, and will take place from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Jean-Mermoz hall in the Stadium district.

Event delayed due to protests

The event was canceled in early October due to demonstrations in the city center, prompting Toulouse Métropole and France Travail to choose a new date and location for the forum.

Event offers free job opportunities

Around forty companies are expected to participate in the forum, offering opportunities for job seekers, those considering a career change, and individuals interested in discussing skills with recruiters. Entry to the event is free.

Participating companies cover diverse sectors

The participating employers will cover a range of sectors, including health and personal services, social action, hospitality, commerce, tertiary functions, industry, transport, territorial public administration, security, and defense. An area dedicated to ecological transition activities, public works, and the circular economy will also be featured.

Event includes VR and entrepreneurship info

The forum will not only include interviews with companies but also provide information on starting a business, entrepreneurship, and employment support. Activities using virtual reality will be available, allowing participants to discover jobs and training opportunities.

Event details available online

The fifth edition of Place de l’emploi will be held at the Jean-Mermoz hall, opposite the Stadium in Toulouse. The new date and location are listed on the Toulouse Métropole employment portal. Interested individuals can consult the activities on France Travail’s Mes événements emploi portal to prepare for their visit and check any registration requirements for specific activities. The general forum is free to attend, and the new date of November 10 should be used for travel and meetings with companies.
