The Asus VivoBook 18 M1807 is a laptop with an unusually large 18-inch display, making it ideal for users who need more screen space for tasks like office work, multitasking, or watching movies. Unlike smaller laptops, this model is designed for those who prioritize screen size over portability. It is currently on sale at the French online retailer Cdiscount, with its price reduced from 899.99 euros to 749.99 euros. The laptop’s screen is an IPS panel with a 16:10 aspect ratio, offering a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels, a high refresh rate of 144 Hz, and full coverage of the sRGB color space, which ensures vibrant and accurate colors. The anti-reflective coating helps reduce glare, making it easier to use in brightly lit environments. Despite its large screen, the device is relatively thin, measuring less than 2 centimeters, and features a full-sized AZERTY keyboard with a numeric keypad, which is uncommon in laptops of this size. Under the hood, the Asus VivoBook 18 M1807 is powered by an AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 processor, 16 GB of DDR5 memory, and a 512 GB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD, offering strong performance for both everyday tasks and more demanding applications. Connectivity options include two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 output, and Wi-Fi 6 support, allowing for versatile use with various peripherals and displays. However, the laptop does not come with a pre-installed operating system, so users must install Windows or another compatible OS after purchase. Priced at 749.99 euros at Cdiscount, the Asus VivoBook 18 M1807 represents a compelling option for those seeking a large, high-performance laptop without the bulk of a desktop. Its combination of screen size, performance, and connectivity makes it a unique choice in the laptop market, particularly for users who value workspace and multimedia capabilities.
