Amazon offers a gaming laptop discount

Amazon has begun its Black Friday promotions with a 200 € discount on the Lenovo LOQ 15 gaming laptop, which includes an RTX 5060 graphics card. The laptop is currently priced at 1,099.99 €, a reduction from a reference price of 1,299.99 €, and the offer is valid until November 13 at 23:59.

Configuration of the Lenovo LOQ 15

The Lenovo LOQ 15 features an AMD Ryzen 5 150 processor, 16 GB of RAM, a 512 GB SSD, and a 15.6-inch Full HD screen with a 144 Hz refresh rate. This setup is designed for Full HD gaming and includes an RTX 5060 with 8 GB of GDDR7 memory.

Performance and suitability

The RTX 5060 and 144 Hz screen are well-suited for competitive gaming, particularly in shooting and racing games. The 16 GB of RAM allows for multitasking, and Wi-Fi 6 ensures a stable online connection. However, the Ryzen 5 150 is based on an older Zen 3+ architecture, which may limit performance in more demanding games.

Limitations of the Lenovo LOQ 15

The laptop has a non-backlit keyboard, which is not ideal for gaming in low-light conditions. The 512 GB SSD can fill up quickly with modern games, and Amazon does not specify the power allocated to the RTX 5060, which can affect performance across different units.

Comparison with other models

At around 1,100 €, the Lenovo LOQ 15 is not the only option. The Gigabyte Gaming 16 and HP HyperX Omen 15 also feature the RTX 5060 and are priced similarly. The Intel version of the LOQ 15 was also available under 1,000 € earlier in the year.

Other Black Friday promotions

In addition to the laptop discount, various other promotions are available, including a 75% discount on Proton VPN Plus, a 50% discount on pCloud Pass Premium, and offers on 5G plans, music subscriptions, and antivirus software. Clubic is providing daily selections of Black Friday deals throughout November.
