Peyrelade acknowledges strong first half but notes second-half struggles

Peyrelade added, "We made a very good first half and at halftime I regretted that we were not leading by more in the score. In the second half we suffered without, however, not conceding any chances to our opponents," showing recognition of both strengths and challenges.

Coach highlights team's resilience and quality

He continued, "Facing players who may be more technically skilled, it was necessary for the team to respond more than usual. My players delivered a match of high quality, a complete match. We made a consistent performance," emphasizing the team's effort and skill.

Peyrelade identifies areas for improvement

Peyrelade also noted, "When we lack intensity, sharpness, we cannot achieve results. Tonight the team that had the most of it won. We need to stop making excuses. We lack soul, generosity at certain positions, we lack verticality in the game," pointing out specific areas where the team needs to improve.

Coach calls for stronger team composition and character

He concluded, "We need more players in depth and players who can launch them into depth. Put players who know how to sacrifice themselves as well, we need more character. It is on this that we need to work to be more competitive. I am certainly disappointed for the supporters because I want to show them something else," expressing his desire for a more competitive and spirited team.
