The TCL 65RM7L is a 65-inch 4K television currently being sold at a discount by Boulanger, now priced at 1,193.99 euros—down from its original price of 1,499 euros, a reduction of 305 euros. This model stands out for its advanced RGB Mini LED backlighting system. Unlike traditional LED TVs that use blue or white LEDs, this technology combines red, green, and blue LEDs to produce a broader and more accurate range of colors. TCL claims that this system can cover up to 100% of the BT.2020 color space, which is a standard used in high dynamic range (HDR) content, resulting in more vivid and lifelike images. The TV also includes an anti-reflective screen treatment, which helps reduce glare from ambient light, making it more comfortable to watch in bright environments. It supports multiple HDR formats such as Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, and HLG, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of content. Additionally, it is certified as IMAX Enhanced, a label that indicates it meets specific standards for sound and picture quality. The TV also offers a Filmmaker mode, which allows creators to preserve the original color, contrast, and frame rate of their work as intended. Another notable feature of the TCL 65RM7L is its high refresh rate of 144 Hz, which helps reduce motion blur and delivers smoother visuals. This is especially beneficial for watching fast-paced sports or action movies. For gamers, the 144 Hz refresh rate, combined with four HDMI 2.1 ports that support 4K resolution at 144 Hz, makes it a strong option for high-end PC gaming. These ports also support Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), which help reduce input lag and prevent screen tearing during gameplay. The TV is equipped with an ONKYO 2.1 Hi-Fi audio system, offering immersive sound through compatibility with Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X technologies. These features create a more three-dimensional and spatial listening experience. The TCL 65RM7L runs on Google TV, which integrates with the broader Google ecosystem, including Google Assistant for voice control and Google Cast for streaming content from devices like smartphones or tablets.
