A modder known as Mojso, who was working on an unofficial port of GTA 5 and GTA Online to the Nintendo Switch, received a cease-and-desist letter from Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games. Mojso had previously mocked Rockstar Games and posted a message stating, "Go ahead, Rockstar, [I don't care]," following the release of Rockstar's modding guidelines, which prohibit unofficial ports. Three days later, Mojso's Discord server was shut down for copyright infringement, but this did not dissuade him. Mojso had been using leaked source code from GTA 5, which led to a multitude of other leaks and problems. He stated that he did not expect Rockstar to react so strongly to his actions and claimed he was not worried about the procedural nature of Rockstar Games and Take-Two, suggesting that "Copyright infringement is not sanctioned in Serbia." However, he later confirmed having received a cease-and-desist letter from Take-Two and thanked the company for its "leniency." Mojso announced that the port project would never be completed, stating he did not want to expose himself to legal proceedings. He also mentioned that "Paralympics Productions will close its doors on October 3," and expressed gratitude to Take-Two for its "leniency," calling it the "final end" of the project. When reminded of his provocative message toward Rockstar, Mojso clarified that he did not expect such a strong reaction from the company. He stated, "They put me on trial," but added, "[But] what am I supposed to do, fucker? Fight them in court? I did not expect them to retaliate so violently."
