Transport changes begin in Tours

Starting on Monday, November 2, Fil Bleu will adjust the schedules of the transport network in the Tours metropolitan area. The tram line schedules will remain unchanged, but several bus lines will undergo adjustments, including extended travel times to account for the consequences of construction work on the second tram line.

Traffic disruptions expected

Traffic will be reduced on the bridge connecting Carrefour de Verdun to the Lac swimming pool, which could create traffic jams, particularly during rush hours. This could affect lines 2, 10, 14, and 16, which pass through this area.

Construction and customer feedback

In addition to the construction work, Fil Bleu is also modifying schedules following customer feedback, for example, to better align with school hours at high schools and the Tanneurs university, as well as to make it easier to reach Tours from Saint-Avertin.

Multiple bus lines affected

In total, 14 bus lines are undergoing changes: 2, 4, 5, 10, 12, 14, 15a, 16, 17, 18, 19, C1, 53, and 57. If you use these lines, check the details on www.filbleu.fr or monitor real-time schedules through the mobile application.
