Garmin introduces a new heart rate strap

Garmin has introduced the HRM 200, a heart rate strap designed to provide precise heart rate measurements for athletes and fitness enthusiasts. This product is part of Garmin's range of wearable technology aimed at improving athletic performance through real-time data tracking.

Discount available on Amazon

The Garmin HRM 200 is currently available on Amazon with a discount of 25 euros, reducing its price from 89.99 euros to 64.99 euros. This makes it more accessible to users looking for a reliable heart rate monitoring solution without a high price tag.

Adjustable and removable design

The HRM 200 features an adjustable design that can accommodate various sizes, ensuring a secure fit. The module, which is placed at the level of the solar plexus, is also removable, allowing users to replace the strap without having to buy a new housing.

Washing and connectivity features

The strap can be detached and washed in a machine, making it more durable and easier to maintain. The module includes an LED that signals when the strap is connected to a Garmin device, and it also blinks to indicate low battery or available updates.

Connection process and compatibility

To connect the HRM 200 to a Garmin watch, users simply need to press the button on the module for a few seconds. This strap is compatible with various Garmin devices, allowing users to monitor their heart rate in real time during different sports activities.

Entry-level model with specific features

The HRM 200 is considered an entry-level model in Garmin's heart rate strap lineup, offering precise heart rate measurements and variations. However, it does not track steps or left-right balance during running, which are features available in more expensive models like the HRM 600.

Use in various sports

The heart rate data provided by the HRM 200 can be used in a variety of sports, particularly cycling. When linked to a compatible Garmin sensor, users can access real-time heart rate monitoring, helping them optimize their training and performance.
