Crossing, a performance by Hadi Nahleh, premiered in France as part of the FAB 2026 festival in Bordeaux. The piece features four dancers moving in a precisely choreographed, circular formation, described as having the regularity of a metronome. The performance, accompanied by original music composed by Amro Zidan, is characterized as a poetic and visual meditation that explores themes of humanity and the sacred. The performance took place on October 3 at 6:15 PM and October 4 at 3:00 PM at Place Marie de Gournay, Belvédère Bordeaux, and on October 7 at 6:00 PM at the Grande place du bourg in Eysines. The production is by the Jordanian company STUDIO 8, which has been creating works that blend contemporary dance with visual arts for over 10 years. This is the first time one of their creations has been presented in France. The performance received support from ONDA and the French Institute of Jordan. The performers include Anas Nahleh, Daniel Issa, Ahmad Wawi, and Abdurahman Mabrook (Abood). The original musical composition and live performance were by Ahmad Masoud. The photo was taken by Arthur Tainturier.
