Several cast members from the popular TV show Gladiators have been replaced ahead of the fourth series. Among the new additions is Tabby Stoecker, a 25-year-old British skeleton athlete who has won a gold medal at the Winter Olympics and secured medals at the World and European Championships. She is also set to compete in the 2026 series of Strictly Come Dancing. Stoecker’s Gladiator name will be revealed later, along with more details about the upcoming season. The fourth series is scheduled to air on the BBC early next year. Also joining the cast is Tom Stoltman, a three-time winner of the World’s Strongest Man competition. He will be known as "Highlander" on the show. Stoltman has taken the place of Jamie Bigg, who was removed from the series due to his relationship with an OnlyFans model. Jamie Bigg is no longer part of the Gladiators team. Other departures include Cyclone (Lystus Ebosele), who left the show voluntarily, and Comet (Ella Mae Rayner), who suggested she might have been axed. Athena (Karenjeet Kaur Bains) suffered a serious knee injury requiring surgery, which will keep her out of the fourth series. Bionic (Matty Campbell) is still recovering from a shoulder injury he sustained in a previous quarter-final. Rugby player Joe Marler will make his debut as a celebrity Gladiator. The 36-year-old, who previously appeared in The Celebrity Traitors, will be known as "Mauler" in the fourth series. Marler’s inclusion marks the first time a celebrity has joined the Gladiators team. Filming for series 4 took place in Sheffield over the summer, with Tabby Stoecker as part of the "formidable line-up" of athletes. Viewers can expect to see intense challenges as Gladiators face off against Contenders in tests of speed, strength, and endurance. The fourth series is set to return to the BBC and iPlayer in 2027, though an exact release date has not yet been confirmed.
