Philips has recently introduced a range of OLED televisions, with the OLED811 series being a standout model aimed at both movie lovers and gamers with high-performance PCs. The 55OLED811 variant, which has a 55-inch 4K OLED screen capable of up to 165 Hz refresh rate, is now available at Boulanger with a 150 euro discount. This brings the price down from the original 1,599 euros to 1,449 euros, and the offer will remain in effect until October 29, 2026. The 55OLED811 includes Philips' Ambilight and AmbiScape technologies. These systems use a series of LEDs placed behind the TV to create a glowing border on the wall around the screen, enhancing the viewer's sense of immersion. AmbiScape expands this experience by connecting with smart bulbs in the room, allowing the lighting to synchronize with the content on the screen. The 4K OLED panel of the 55OLED811 provides deep black levels without the halo effect often seen in other screens, offering infinite contrast and wide viewing angles. It supports several HDR formats, including HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, and Dolby Vision 2 Max, which enhance the visual experience by improving brightness and color accuracy. Additionally, the TV features a P5 AI processor that analyzes images in real time to optimize contrast, colors, and smoothness, ensuring a more refined viewing experience. The 55OLED811 includes four HDMI 2.1 ports, which allow it to display 4K content at 120 Hz and fully support next-generation gaming consoles like the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. It also supports VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) technologies, which are essential for reducing input lag and improving the gaming experience. The TV is compatible with advanced audio formats such as Dolby Atmos and DTS:X for a more immersive sound experience. One of the HDMI ports supports eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel), enabling high-quality audio transmission to a soundbar. The television also uses the Titan OS operating system and is compatible with the Matter smart home standard.
