Anthony Bajon, a French actor who has appeared in several recent feature films such as Chien de la casse, Gourou, Au nom de la terre, and L'Amour ouf, has begun filming Le Grand Réveil. In this film, he plays the lead character, Paul, a journalist tasked with investigating conspiracy circles. As Paul delves deeper into his research, he uncovers a radicalized cell planning violent actions, placing him in a dangerous position where he must navigate both fervent militants and high-ranking figures within the movement. Paul's journey involves gaining the trust of these individuals, allowing him to infiltrate increasingly secretive circles. However, as he gets closer to the truth, he finds himself trapped by the very infiltration he orchestrated. The film's cast includes Benjamin Lavernhe, an actor from the prestigious Comédie-Française, alongside Salomé Dewaels, Augustin Shackelpopoulos, Hugo Dillon, and Pauline Lorillard. Le Grand Réveil is the second feature film directed by Louda Ben Salah-Cazanas, following her 2022 film Le monde après nous. Currently, filming is underway and is expected to continue until November 3 in the Hauts-de-France region and Paris, according to the distributor, Tandem. The film's release date has not yet been announced.
