The JBL Go 4, a portable Bluetooth speaker, is currently available for 38.00 € at Samsung and has recently been named the best affordable portable Bluetooth speaker in a comparison that tested 87 different models. The Go 4 is the fourth iteration of a well-known mini-speaker series from JBL, a brand known for its audio technology. While the design and core features remain largely unchanged, the Go 4 includes some modern updates that make it more competitive in today's market. The speaker is praised for its well-balanced sound quality, which delivers clear and full audio for its size. It is also durable and water-resistant, making it suitable for use in various environments, from outdoor activities to indoor use. The Go 4 comes with full control options and integrates with the JBL Portable app, which allows users to customize sound settings. Additionally, it supports multipoint connection, meaning it can pair with two devices at once, such as a smartphone and a tablet. However, some reviews have pointed out a few drawbacks. The speaker is said to have less precise high and mid-range frequencies, and the bass is limited when played at higher volumes. Its battery life is also considered relatively short compared to other models in its class, and it lacks a traditional 3.5mm audio jack for wired connections. These issues are noted but do not significantly detract from its overall performance. Despite these shortcomings, the JBL Go 4 is still regarded as an effective and refined speaker, with a sound quality that is slightly improved over previous versions. It maintains the strong price-to-quality ratio that has made earlier models popular among consumers looking for a reliable, affordable portable speaker.
