New feature in dehumidifiers

Duux has introduced a new feature called SwiftDry, which is integrated into its Bora dehumidifiers. This feature is designed to help dry laundry faster when done indoors by removing humidity from the air. It is activated in the Laundry Drying mode and can make the drying process up to three times faster than outdoors, while using up to 50 percent less energy than a traditional tumble dryer.

Dehumidifier models and pricing

The Bora dehumidifiers are available in three different capacities: 12 liters, 20 liters, and 30 liters of water per day. The models are priced at 200 euros, 350 euros, and 400 euros respectively. The 20-liter and 30-liter versions can be controlled using the Duux Smart app, which allows users to manage the devices remotely.

Additional features and controls

Each dehumidifier includes a carbon filter to help reduce odors in the air. Additionally, a hygrostat is included, which allows the device to adjust its operation based on the current humidity levels in the room. This helps maintain optimal humidity without overworking the machine or wasting energy.

Upcoming testing for smaller model

The 20-liter model, known as the Duux Bora 20L DXDH20, was tested last winter to evaluate its performance. The 12-liter model, the Duux Bora 12L, is set to be tested soon to assess its performance and the capacity of its water reservoir. These tests aim to ensure that each model meets the expected standards for efficiency and effectiveness.
