Arsenal, the reigning Women's Champions League champions, will face two of the competition's most storied teams in the league phase: holders Barcelona and eight-time winners Lyon. The Gunners' schedule includes home matches against Lyon, Benfica, and Danish side HB Koge, whom they defeated both at home and away during the 2021-22 season. Their away fixtures will be against Barcelona, Paris FC, and Inter Milan, as they aim to successfully defend their European title. This marks their first league phase since winning the 2025 title. Chelsea, who were runners-up in the 2020-21 season, will host Paris St-Germain, Roma, and Austria Wien in London. Manager Sonia Bompastor will face her former club Lyon in France, a team she once led to European glory. The Blues will also travel to Sweden and Belgium for matches against Hacken and OH Leuven. Manchester City, who missed out on European competition last season, have been placed in a more favorable draw. They will host Paris St-Germain, Real Madrid, and Austria Wien, while playing away against Bayern Munich, Hacken, and Inter Milan. Notable fixtures from the draw include a rematch of the 2025-26 semi-final between Barcelona and Bayern Munich in Munich, and a trip by Bayern to face Paris St-Germain. The draw, held in Nyon, Switzerland, grouped all 18 clubs into six pots, with each team facing two opponents—one home and one away—from each pot. Arsenal and Chelsea were placed in Pot 1, while Manchester City was in Pot 3. The full schedules will be confirmed by UEFA on Saturday, 5 September. The league phase will begin on 22 and 23 September, with the final matches scheduled for 16 December. The knockout stages will start in February 2027, leading to the quarter-finals in March and the semi-finals in early May. The final is set to take place in Warsaw during the last week of May. Arsenal's schedule is widely considered the toughest among the three English teams, as they face both Lyon and Barcelona. Meanwhile, Manchester City, despite avoiding the top teams, still face challenges with Bayern Munich and PSG. Austria Wien, making their league phase debut, will face both City and Chelsea, which they view as a reward for their recent European progress.
