Art Basel Paris 2026 dates and venue

The contemporary art fair Art Basel Paris 2026 will take place at the Grand Palais from October 23 to 25, 2026. Following an edition in 2025 that welcomed more than 73,000 visitors, the fair aims to further embed itself in the local cultural fabric by highlighting the French art scene.

New director and vision

Karim Crippa, the new director of Art Basel Paris, stated that the fair wishes to welcome all forms of curiosity while maintaining a strong Parisian identity. His vision aligns with the fair’s goal of reinforcing its connection to the city and showcasing diverse artistic expressions.

Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu appointed

Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, a French actress known for her roles in Dix pour cent and Emily in Paris, will serve as the artistic director of the Oh La La! section, succeeding fashion journalist Loïc Prigent. This section will feature a two-day event titled "Mythes et Légendes."

Oh La La! section highlights

Emergence and Premise sectors

The Emergence sector will focus on emerging young artists, while the Premise sector will present unknown works, some created before 1900. These sections aim to highlight both new talent and historical pieces that may not be widely known.
