During the French Days 2026, a promotional event running until September 14, the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite has caught the attention of many consumers due to significant price cuts. Originally priced at 249 euros, the smartphone is now available at Boulanger for 189 euros, and at Darty and Fnac for 199 euros. This makes it one of the more affordable options in the mid-range smartphone market. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chip, which offers decent performance for everyday tasks and light gaming. It also features a 6.77-inch OLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, which provides smooth scrolling and a vibrant display. The design of the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite is distinctive, with a transparent back that reveals the internal components and a "Glyph" lighting system that illuminates the phone during notifications and calls. The front of the device is more subdued, with a high-brightness OLED screen that is suitable for use in bright outdoor conditions. The phone is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery, which supports wired charging at 33 W, allowing it to charge fully in just over an hour. This makes it a good option for users who need a long-lasting battery and quick charging. Performance-wise, the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite handles multitasking and light gaming with ease, thanks to its 8 GB of RAM and the Dimensity 7300 Pro processor. However, when the battery is low, the phone may throttle performance to conserve power, which could lead to noticeable slowdowns. The storage capacity is fixed at 128 GB, which may not be sufficient for users who store a lot of media or apps on their devices by 2026. The camera system includes a 50 MP main sensor and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens. While the main camera performs well in most lighting conditions, it tends to overexpose images in very bright environments. The ultra-wide-angle lens offers decent performance but shows some loss of detail on the edges of photos. Despite these limitations, the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite remains a competitive option during the French Days 2026, especially with its reduced price. The event features a wide range of tech deals, including smartphones, 4K TVs, laptops, and tablets.
