Album details announced

The musical album accompanying the release of Hunger Games: Sunrise Over the Harvest has been revealed. The project, produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb, combines rock, country, and pop genres.

Featured artists named

Among the announced artists are Ella Langley, Tyler Childers, Stevie Nicks, Kacey Musgraves, Noah Kahan, The Cure, Depeche Mode, and The Smashing Pumpkins. The album will be released on November 13, 2026, a week before the film's theatrical release on November 18.

Actress and star to perform songs

Actress Mckenna Grace, who is part of the film's cast, will perform "Half Alive." Jennifer Lawrence, who will reprise her role as Katniss in Sunrise Over the Harvest, eleven years after her last appearance in The Rebellion, Part 2, will perform "Deep in the Meadow," a song that echoes the musical universe of the first films.

Lawrence on reuniting with cast

Lawrence also confirmed she would be happy to reprise her role and will reunite with Josh Hutcherson and Woody Harrelson, respectively playing Peeta Mellark and Haymitch Abernathy. She described these reunions as particularly emotional during an appearance on the podcast Call Her Daddy.

Album not fully featured in film

Not all the songs will be featured in the film. The album is a musical project inspired by the universe of the film, and not a compilation of tracks that will necessarily be heard in the film. The real soundtrack, composed by James Newton Howard, will be released on November 20.
