This coffee machine is designed to offer a more personalized brewing experience by including an integrated grinder that allows users to grind beans just before making their coffee, which helps preserve the beans' natural aromas. The machine features a coffee bean hopper that can hold up to 260 grams of beans, and a 1.7-liter water tank that ensures enough water is available for making drinks throughout the day. Users can adjust the grind to three levels of fineness and set the water temperature to one of three different settings, allowing for customization based on individual preferences. The Krups YY5149FD can prepare a variety of coffee styles, including strong espresso, longer coffee, or two cups at the same time. It also comes with a milk frother and a milk jug, making it easier to create cappuccinos and other coffee drinks at home. The Krups YY5149FD uses the company's Thermoblock Compact system, which helps regulate water temperature during the brewing process for more consistent results. It has a manual interface that allows users to access different settings and includes an automatic cleaning program to simplify maintenance. Despite its large water tank and generous coffee bean hopper, the machine remains compact, making it a suitable option for countertop placement without taking up too much space in the kitchen.
