Circa returns with new production

Circa, a renowned Australian circus company, is set to premiere its latest work, Humans 2.0, in Paris from 9 to 20 December 2026 at the Theatre Silvia Monfort. The performance is described as a high-tension, physically demanding show that showcases the peak of acrobatic artistry.

Focus on raw physicality

Humans 2.0 emphasizes raw physical presence over elaborate stage sets. The production features ten performers who move in constant coordination, guided by a shared discipline that prioritizes rhythm, timing, and mutual awareness over individual expression.

Creative team and collaborators

The show is directed by Yaron Lifschitz and includes original music by Ori Lichtik, with lighting design by Paul Jackson and costume design by Libby McDonnell. Jason Organ serves as technical director, and the French distribution is managed by Antonin Coutouly through Kinetic Tour.

Support and accessibility

Humans 2.0 is a co-production of The Mondavi Center at UC Davis and receives support from the Australian government through Creative Australia and the Queensland government through Arts Queensland. The performance is recommended for children aged eight and older and lasts approximately one hour and ten minutes.
