Resident Evil followed with 248,732 entries, bringing its cumulative total to 576,548. Avengers Endgame Extended ranked third with 220,616 entries, also a new release. Garance, a collaboration between Jeanne Herry and Adèle Exarchopoulos, came in fourth with 214,952 entries. Justin le Juste was fifth with 98,915 entries. Tombé du ciel was sixth with 91,088 entries, adding to its cumulative total of 2,177,990. Primetime, featuring Robert Pattinson, was seventh with 78,214 entries. Spider-Man Brand New Day ranked eighth with 76,403 entries, bringing its cumulative total to 8,406,708. L'Odyssée was ninth with 76,278 entries, adding to its cumulative total of 8,012,314. La Vie d'une femme closed the top ten with 69,054 entries, for a cumulative total of 330,500. Heart of the Beast benefited from a larger number of screenings and the presence of Brad Pitt, and was not restricted to audiences over 12 years old. It recorded more than 500,000 entries in its first week, including previews. It ranks as the 14th best debut of the year, between Bullet Train (491,067 entries) and Babylon (508,796 entries). Resident Evil has already attracted nearly 600,000 people in Raccoon City and could reach one million by the end of its run. Avengers Endgame Extended attracted 220,616 viewers, and the cumulative total for Spider-Man Brand New Day now stands at 8,406,708. Garance, with fewer screens and a more competitive period, started slightly behind Je verrai toujours vos visages (282,292 entries in March 2023), which had a stronger cast. L'Odyssée, the second new release of the year and the first film of Christopher Nolan's career, has surpassed 8 million entries and could soon surpass Les Visiteurs 2 and Rien à déclarer in French box office history. The film's success highlights a growing interest in Nolan's work in France, where he has previously directed several acclaimed films.
