The Microsoft Surface Laptop 7 is currently being sold on Amazon during its Prime Flash Days, with a reduced price of 999 euros, down from its regular 1,349.99 euros. This 13.8-inch ultraportable laptop is built on ARM architecture, a type of chip design commonly used in mobile devices, and features a Snapdragon X Plus chip, 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and a 512 GB SSD. These components provide enough power for multitasking and running more demanding software. The laptop has a 3:2 format PixelSense Flow display with a resolution of 2,304 x 1,536 pixels, a brightness of up to 600 cd/m², and a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, making it suitable for both work and entertainment. Additional features include a backlit keyboard, Copilot assistance, a 1080p webcam with an infrared Windows Hello sensor, and OmniSonic speakers with Dolby Atmos sound. The Microsoft Surface Laptop 7 weighs 1.34 kg and has a 54 Wh battery, which Microsoft claims can last up to 13 hours of web browsing under lab conditions. However, the use of ARM architecture may lead to compatibility issues with some software, as Windows often runs classic applications in emulation. Some games and drivers may still have compatibility problems. The laptop comes with a 39 W charger, though fast charging (from 5 to 80%) requires a minimum 65 W charger, which is sold separately. In terms of connectivity, the Microsoft Surface Laptop 7 offers two USB-C ports compatible with USB4, a USB-A 3.1 Gen 2 port, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a proprietary Surface Connect port. The memory is soldered onto the motherboard and cannot be upgraded, but the SSD and battery are more accessible than on the previous generation. The laptop also includes Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for enhanced wireless performance. The sale of the Microsoft Surface Laptop 7 will end on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, and is available exclusively to Amazon Prime members.
